Double Bay

A Federation style cottage built in 1905, and then renovated by an architect in 2003, this townhouse presented as a mismatch of different eras. Our challenge was to bring the home into this decade whilst blending the existing architecture with the client’s keepsakes from their time living in Asia.

The result was a timeless home, filled with texture and character. Zellige tiles, oak veneer and random ashlar stone added an organic edge that blended the homeowners mementos with Australian charm.
