Space Invaders

Space Invaders is a TV show on Channel 9 that focuses on decluttering and renovating the homes of everyday Australian families. The renovation team was challenged with creating captivating and afforable interiors, often transforming a whole house on a 3 day turn around.

Working around the home owner’s sentimental items and being restricted to products supplied by sponsors meant that thinking outside the box was often the only option. This, combined with the fast nature of the show, created a unique set of challenges to work with.

Each house had a different brief depending on the homeowner’s story. It was also important to make sure each home was visually different from the last in order to keep viewers engaged.
